This
meeting will be open to ALL three divisions of Vineyard Plantation and
Bella Sera residents. SAFETY is our primary concern as well as the
protection and preservation of our neighborhoods. Although we have not
had any significant criminal activity, we must ALL be vigilant. We are a
POSTED no soliciting neighborhood and we ask that ALL door to door
solicitors be reported to 911.
Please
lock your cars, turn on outside lights and remove anything of perceived
value from your vehicles. Close your garage doors at night as well.
Please come to the meeting and join with us in maintaining a safe
neighborhood. Please invite your neighbors to attend.

DISHWASHER RECALL
For anyone who has a GE dishwasher, there is a very important recall notice about the heating element causing fire. Please use THIS LINK to check if your dishwasher is part of the recall (you will need the model and serial number from inside the unit). If it is, you can easily set up a service call directly from their website or opt for a voucher ($50 or $100 depending on the model) to purchase a new GE dishwasher.
The dishwashers affected were installed between March 2006 - April 2009...most of the units in our neighborhood could potentially be included in the recall. Please take the time to check yours!

NO SMOKING AT POOL
Just a reminder that smoking is prohibited at the pool. On Monday, 7/16, at approximately 6:00PM, the fire department was called to the clubhouse to extinguish a small brush fire in one of the planting beds right behind our pool. According to the fire department, the fire was caused by a cigarette butt. Please refrain from smoking and ensure all guests also understand that smoking is not allowed. If you see someone smoking at the pool, please help everyone by reminding them of the policy.

FUTCH CREEK APARTMENT COMPLEX
Dear Neighbors,
It looks like the developer is proceeding with his proposed development as presented in December at public information meetings. I am opposed like many of you, to the development of an apartment complex along Futch Creek Road. It will drive our property values down even more. It will add an additional 500+ cars to Futch Creek Road daily. I don't think that is a wise move and add more problems and congestion to the already congested traffic in our area. The developer is planning to push their agenda through to the County Commissioners on April 12th and if we don't STAND UP against these guys and fight for our community and its surrounding area, we will be the ones dealing with the repercussions for years to come. Please join me at this meeting. We will be sending out more info and strategy as it becomes available.
Thank you!
