Deputies Gina Turner and David Desso of The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Community Services Unit will be teaching a Rape Aggression Defense Course (R.A.D.) in conjunction with the University Of North Carolina Wilmington Police Department. This Course will be held at the UNCW Campus and is open to women only of all ages (recommended 14 yrs & older).The cornerstone of R.A.D. Systems, this course has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes lecture, discussion and self defense techniques, suitable for women of all ages and abilities. Classes range from nine to twelve hours in length, depending on the Instructor.
