YARD MAINTENANCE

There are a couple of yard maintenance related reminders that need to be brought to everyone’s attention.

     • Please be aware that if your yard is fenced, and your neighbor’s yard is also fenced, the space between fences should be maintained by you and the neighboring homeowner. This applies to fence spaces along the sides and back of your yard, if applicable.

     • If your yard backs up to a drainage swale/ditch, please note that those spaces should also be maintained by the homeowner.

Neither of the areas mentioned above are maintained by Vineyard Plantation’s landscaping service, as they are not considered common areas. They are drainage easements and the responsibility lies with the individual homeowners whose property borders these areas, and should be maintained in the same fashion as our yards.

POOL ACCESS - MESSAGE FROM OUR HOA BOARD

Dear VP Neighbors,

We are hoping everyone has been able to take advantage of the pool during this latest stretch of nice weather. We are asking for everyone's help going forward to ensure our pool is kept safe, while only being used by residents and guests of our neighborhood (Enclave and Preserve). There has been a few concerns voiced to us by some fellow residents who want to be sure that the families currently living in the Registry, as well as future residents of the new homes being built over there, are not going to use our pool.

To clear up any confusion, the existing homes in the Registry, as well as all the new homes that will be built, are not part of our HOA. They are not paying quarterly dues to us, and do not have rights to use our pool. The close proximity of these homes to the Preserve side of our neighborhood has created the concerns mentioned above. We have sent letters to the existing homeowners, and have contacted both the listing agent and the management company for the Registry, to ensure this is clear to all current and prospective homeowners. We do not believe we have any major issues at this time, but it could present a problem down the road.

Since we do not have any type of swipe system or lock on the pool gate, we are asking that everyone please have their pool keys with them and visible at all times while at the pool, to help identify residents and guests. If for some reason you do not have a pool key, please contact CAMS who can help with the paperwork, etc… Thank you for your help and cooperation. Have a great summer!
